Sweet Strawberry Brownie Kabobs (Printable)

Fudgy brownie bites, strawberries and marshmallows threaded on skewers, finished with a chocolate-chocolate drizzle.

# What You'll Need:

→ Brownie Layer

01 - 1 box (about 15 ounces) brownie mix, plus eggs, vegetable oil, and water as per package instructions

→ Fruit & Marshmallow

02 - 24 fresh strawberries, hulled
03 - 24 large marshmallows

→ Optional Decoration

04 - 3.5 ounces dark or milk chocolate, melted
05 - Colorful sprinkles, optional

# How To Make It:

01 - Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions. Combine brownie mix with eggs, oil, and water as directed. Pour batter into a prepared baking pan and bake as instructed. Cool the brownies completely.
02 - Once cooled, remove brownies from the pan and trim edges if needed. Slice brownies into 24 equal bite-sized squares.
03 - Thread one brownie square, one strawberry, and one marshmallow onto a skewer. Repeat layering to add a second brownie, strawberry, and marshmallow on the same skewer. Continue with remaining ingredients to create 12 kabobs in total.
04 - Arrange assembled kabobs on a serving platter. Drizzle melted chocolate over the kabobs and decorate with sprinkles if desired. Allow chocolate to set before serving.

# Tips from dashanddishes:

01 -
  • It’s the kind of dessert that always gets people talking, no matter how simple it seems.
  • You can make them ahead of time, sneak a bite or two, and still have plenty left for everyone else.
02 -
  • If brownies are too warm when cut, they’ll fall apart and make a glorious mess.
  • Drizzle the chocolate slowly or you’ll end up with more on the plate than the kabobs themselves—I learned that after my first overly enthusiastic attempt.
03 -
  • Don’t rush the cooling step—patience pays off in perfect brownie cubes.
  • For even prettier kabobs, alternate marshmallow sizes or use heart-cut strawberries around holidays for a quick wow factor.
